One feed for a whole life.

A solo owner's mail lands at one address: the client work, the school, the invoice, the group thread about a trip. Sorting it is where this starts. Sorting alone is only right for an average week, and each part narrows the field further than the last. First, placing each message rather than ranking it, so work and family stop competing. Then turning one part of your life up for the two weeks it matters. Then clearing the other thirty clients to see one name while a deal closes. The last part widens it again, to the team chat where a closing date moved and the feed couldn't see it. Each part is also specific about the cost, and about what has to keep getting through while the rest is turned down.
